2011 Marist Sevens Tournament

The 2011 Marist Sevens Rugby Tournament will be held on Friday, 4 March, and Saturday, 5 March 2011, at the tfl National Stadium, Laucala Bay, Suva. Registration is now open with the tournament to be made up of 64 teams. For more information, pls call William Mar on telephone (679) 9255828.

FNRL Awards Night

The Fiji National Rugby League will hold its Annual Awards Night on Saturday, 5 February 2011, from 7pm to 11pm at the Central Cuisine Restaurant. The Kulture Band will be providing entertainment with the dress code being Bula. Enjoy a buffet dinner with complimentary soft drinks. Mat Weaving Workshop

A Mat Weaving Workshop will be held from Monday, 10 January, to Friday, 14 January 2011 at the Fiji Museum Veranda. Sessions will be held from 10am to 1pm on each day. Attendance fee is F$50.00 per person. Morning tea will be served on those days.

Nabua Sevens Tournament

The Nabua Sevens Tournament will be held on Friday, 7 January, and Saturday, 8 January 2010, at Subrail Park, Labasa. Forty eight teams will participate. Nabua has produced some of the country's top rugby players including Tomasi Cama, Pauliasi Tabulutu, Alifereti Dere, Vili Rauluni and Sakiasi Vonolagi. The tournament will also see the Rauluni Trophy awarded to the winning team. The trophy is being offered to remember the late Rauluni brothers, Meli and Vesito.
