Welcome the Uto Ni Yalo home
The Uto Ni Yalo arrives in Suva this Saturday, 26 June 2010, three months after being away from home. It is due to arrive at 12pm at the Jetty, opposite the Handicraft Centre, Suva. Once they have been received by their families, they will be treated to a traditional welcome ceremony, followed by entertainment. Everyone is encouraged to come along and join in the welcome and to meet the crew. Please bring along your Fiji flags, wear your Fiji Islands Voyaging Society shirt, prepare and present floral leis, or just be there to show your support and be a part of this reception to honour our voyaging heroes.
