A Panel Discussion on Towards the Copenhagen Summit and a global, legally-binding agreement to curb climate change : Opportunities and challenges, will be held on Wednesday, 2 December 2009, 7pm to 9pm, at the Lecture Theatre 1, FIT Raiwai Campus, 2 Carpenter Street, Suva. Panellists are :
  • Mr Guo Dazhi, Director of Political Affairs, Chinese Embassy, Suva;
  • Dr Norman H Barth, Regional Environmental Officer for the Pacific, US Embassy, Suva; and
  • Mr Steve Paeniu, Sustainable Development Adviser, SPREP.

Dr Surendra Prasad, Dean, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Engineering and Maritime Studies, FIT will moderate the discussion.
