The following events are scheduled for Suva: One-off Events:
  • Fiji Arts Council calling for interested performance groups or individuals to compete at a national dance competition with a focus on traditional dance/movement in Fijian, Indian, Rotuman and Asian dance and a separate category for contemporary dance.   • Suva City Council is calling for Expressions of Interest from parties that wish to use Nabukalou Creek for water sports and fun activities - Expressions of Interest close on 30 June 2009, 3pm;
  • Call for interested artists to submit artwork (including a one paragraph description of their work) for an upcoming art exhibition on the theme "Birds and Turtles" by the Fiji Arts Council;
  • Sign Language Course, Monday, 16 February 2009, to Wednesday, 29 July 2009, 5.30pm to 7pm on each day, Vocation Centre, 3 Brown Street, Toorak, Suva;
  • Term 2 of the Salvation Army Suva Central Sewing Program, from Tuesday, 19 May, to Friday, 21 August 2009, 9am to 12pm on Mondays to Fridays during that period, Salvation Army, Suva;
