'Vasu': Exhibition
There will be a month long art and culture exhibition by the Pacific Women of Power from Thursday, 25 September to Saturday, 25 October 2008 at the Oceania Centre for Arts and Culture, University of the South Pacific, Laucala Bay, Suva. This is Fiji’s first all women exhibition where a percentage of proceeds will be donated to charity organizations’ sponsoring women and children. Scheduled Activities are as follows:
- Artist talk by Filani Macassey on Thursday, 25 September 2008, starting 10:15am;
- Reading Night on Thursday, 25 September 2008, starting 7pm at Traps Back Bar, Admission is F$2.00 per person;
- Artist at Work with Margaret Aull on Friday, 26 September 2008, starting 10:15am;
- Interactive Session with Rowena Singh on Friday, 26 September 2008, starting 12:30pm;
