2008 Frank Hilton Community Service Awards: Call for Entries
The Frank Hilton Community Service Awards is calling for entries to any individual or group that help others, providing exceptional voluntary service to the Fiji community in fields such as social service or health care or education. The service must alleviate sufferings of people or promote interfaith unity or uplift humanity in any other way. The Awards are in honour of Frank Hilton, a philanthropist and a social worker, who has been tirelessly working in Fiji, since 1961, to meet the special education needs of children with physical, mental and hearing impairments. Under his guidance and inspiration runs the Hilton Special School, the Hilton Boarding School and the Prosthesis Centre serving the most needy in our community. Winners will be announced on Saturday, 6 December 2008, at a Gala Dinner Night at the Suva Holiday Inn. Tickets for the Gala Night can be purchased from the Rotary Club of Suva. For more information, pls call Nilesh on telephone (679) 9907344.
