Selling Smarter Workshop

A Selling Smarter workshop is being organised by the Continuing and Community Education Centre, University of the South Pacific, for Wednesday, 4 June 2008, from 9am to 3pm. What you will gain include :

  • Understanding the paradox : helping other people get what they want gives us more of what we want
  • Using goal-setting techniques as a way to focus on what you want to accomplish and develop strategies for getting there
  • Recognising the difference between features and benefits of products and services and developing a plan for increasing product knowledge
  • Identifying the most critical elements of telephone sales and customer service
  • Understanding the power of your behaviour for more successful sales and customer service
  • Developing communication skills to better share information and better listen to the customer

The workshop will cover:

  • Defining Why You are in Sales
  • Selling Product Benefits
  • Managing Time
  • Understanding Up-Selling
  • How to avoid the ten major mistakes we sometimes make
  • Setting SMART Goals
  • Networking and finding new clients
