Trip to Viwa Island
The Friends of the Fiji Museum network is organising a trip to Viwa Island on Saturday, 19 April 2008. Viwa Island was where the Reverend John Hunt was based. Reverend Hunt played a major role in converting Fijians to Christianity. The island still has the missionary's grave. The cost per person is F$20.00. Lunch will be provided by the women of Viwa Island.
