Suva Mayor given ultimatum to clean up the city
The Lord Mayor of Suva has been issued an ultimatum to clean up the city by the Minister responsible for Urban Development. The mayor has 30 days to carry out his cleaning activities. It would be interesting to see what the city looks like after 30 days. Whilst on the topic of what the city fathers have done in the city, the huts located along the seawall at Queen Elizabeth Drive, opposite the Suva Pony Club, and near the National Sporting Complex, has become a real crowd getter during the school break and on weekends. Families and friends congregate along those huts and in the nearby Children's Park to enjoy the sun, the sea and to while away the hours. Check them out sometime.
