Christian Xtreme Team comes to Fiji

A Christian Xtreme Team will be having performances around the country from Tuesday, 4 September, to Saturday, 13 October 2007. The team's aim is to share the Gospel to the younger generations in a way that appeals to them. The team will comprise more than 100 members. Performances will include pro/amateur and sponsored bikers, rollerbladers and skaters backed up by hip hop dancers. There will also be world class athletes, conditioning experts, power lifters and Polynesian dancers and musicians. Shattering bricks and ice blocks with bare hands and forearms, blowing up hot water bottles, snapping steel handcuffs in two and bending steel bars around necks and between teeth are some of the incredible acts that will be on show. The team organiser said, “We were always planning to go to Fiji, which is very strategic for IWT and for the Pacific Islands. We believe that there is something that Fiji has that links other islands such as Tonga, Tokelau and Samoa together.” Performances in and around Suva are scheduled on :
