Two stalls to check out in Suva

Two stalls to check out at the Suva Flea Market (opposite the main bus terminal) are :
  • one operated by Aminiasi Niumataiwalu which specialises in Fijian artifacts. The stall sells a whole range of Fijian handicraft including mats, tapa, fans, baskets/bags, bowls, replica bures, utensils and other trinkets.
  • another operated by Liviana Madanavatu which sells homemade seaweed health care products. The stall also sells herbal lotions, massage oils and other herbal and traditional medicine.

Suva Flea Market is a good place to shop and get bargains on Fijian handicraft and similar products. Other handicraft sellers operate from the Suva Handicraft Centre (behind the Suva General Post Office) and the Government Handicraft Centre (located at Sukuna House along Victoria Parade). Other galleries and shops located in and around the capital city also offer similar products.
