PNG may make a financial contribution to set up war memorial in Suva
The development of Thurston Gardens in Suva into a national war memorial is expected to cost Government millions of dollars according to the Minister for Home Affairs. Work on the project will begin at the end of November with Papua New Guinea's Prime Minister officiating at the ground-breaking ceremony. It is believed that the PNG PM will make a financial contribution towards the project when he officiates at the ground-breaking ceremony.
