Multi-cultural events to feature on Fiji Day celebrations in Suva
Fiji Day celebrations in Suva tomorrow will be marked by a range of multicultural dance items and songs. It will feature entertainment from the Chinese, Rotuman, Indian, Wallis and Futuna, Banaban and Fijian communities. Thirty participants will show off culinary arts in a food preparation demonstration when the program gets underway at 10am at Albert Park. Villagers of Lau, Bua, Cakaudrove, Nadroga and Vatulele will put their crafts on display and singer, Saimoni Vuatalevu, will perform from 12pm to 3pm.
