PM unveils the design of the new Grand Pacific Crowne Plaza

The Prime Minister, Laisenia Qarase, yesterday launched the design concept for the new Grand Pacific Crowne Plaza which will be located at the site of the old Grand Pacific Hotel. The Grand Pacific Crowne Plaza will become a striking new Suva landmark, in which the elegance of the past meets the spirit of the future. The Crowne Plaza will be a major visitor draw card for the capital and will present a considerable number of job opportunities, both during construction and beyond, to locals. Standing to benefit will also be members of the Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) as it is the major investor in the project, together with the Fiji Investment Corporation Limited.
