Organiser seeks creative talent

More than 20 aspiring young singers took centre stage at the Dragon Music vying for a place in the upcoming Fiji Music Festival. Organiser Eric Galmard said the response had been really good, given the short time frame they planned for the event. Singers surprised judges with latest numbers from Celine Dion, Backstreet Boys and James Blunt. The organisers will be picking 30 singers to sing alongside some professional musicians during the festival and the best three would compete later in the day. Galmard said that winners will walk away with cash prizes and other gift packs from sponsors.
