Increasing readership of blogs by former Fiji residents

I have noted an increased readership of this blog by former Fiji residents living abroad who have sent me thank you messages for enabling them to keep a link with their home town of Suva. One such message was received from a Catherine Koster who lives in Sydney, Australia. Her message reads, "Hi there Gilbert. Read Your web and blog with great interest. I will be relocating/returning to Fiji after many years abroad...... Your web certainly has been a great service in the relocating process. Thank you again." Another from Anne Louie also in Australia reads, "thanks for your currents on happenings @ home!" For this, I thank these readers and encourage them to share the blog address with their other friends who may be interested with what is happening in Suva. There, actually, has been a lot of events/activities in the previous months and there will be more in the coming months with the Hibiscus Festival in August and the Melanesian Festival of Arts in October. To all former Fiji residents, you can also send me snippets of good memories that you had in Suva which I can post on the blog. Have your snippets e-mailed to me at gilbert@connect.com.fj. Do note that we also have another blog which is http://investinfiji.blogspot.com/. That blog provides information useful to those that wish to invest or set up business in Fiji. One message received from a Russell Whyte of Rotorua, New Zealand, reads, "I am .......... interested in the obvious development opportunities presented in your blogs ......." It is also getting an increased number of readership. You can bookmark the "Invest in Fiji" blog as well or go to it through links at the right hand side of this blog. Have a good Saturday!
