Bollywood dance attract students

As part of the 2006 Kula Film Awards and the Audio Visual Industry Open Day, 13 schools will take part in the first Bollywood dance competition. The 13 schools from around the country will be taking part in the competition to perform live on stage a 5-minute dance sequence based on popular Hindi songs. The competition is organised by the Fiji Audio Visual Commission and awards will be presented this Saturday for best dance performance, best individual performance and best costume. All-boys Fijian boarding school, Ratu Kadavulevu School, is taking part in the competition. The other competing schools are Levuka Public, Muainaweni College, Khalsa College, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial, Vashist Muni College, Latter Day Saints College, Rishikul Sanatan Secondary, Tilak High, Gospel High, Cuvu Secondary, Suva Sangam and Saraswati College.
