Aussies, Kiwis to play Fiji netball

The New Zealand and Australia netball teams could be playing test matches here next year in the buildup to the World Championships to be held in Suva in 2007. With the series against South Africa ending in a draw last night after the visitors won 52-46, Netball Fiji remains optimistic of getting the top two sides into the country. Apart from the Silver Ferns and the Australian team, other matches are being lined up to prepare the Fiji side for the World Championships. The national team will be having buildup matches which include a tour of Australia and New Zealand. Some matches are also be played in Fiji against visiting teams in October.
