New era of Pacific Islands rugby starts in Suva today

The first steps toward rebuilding Pacific Islands rugby starts in Suva today with the Junior All Blacks facing Fiji in the inaugural Pacific Nations competition. Joining these teams in the four-week competition are Samoa, Tonga and Japan. The three countries, Fiji, Tonga and Samoa are very keen with the new competition. In Suva, people are looking forward to the Junior All Blacks playing here. The game starts at 3pm and will be held at the Post Fiji Stadium, Laucala Bay. The team lists for the game are :
  • Fiji - Normal Ligairi, Mosese Luveitasau, Epeli Ruivadra, Seru Rabeni, Rupeni Caucau, Seremaia Bai, Seveci Taka, Alivereti Doviverata, Aca Ratuva, Ifereimi Rawaqa, Simon Raiwalui (Capt), Isoa Domolailai, Apisai Nagi, Sunia Koto, Josese Bale. Reserves - Joeli Lotawa, Ravuama Samo, Netani Talei, Akapusi Qera, Emosi Vucago, Josevata Tora, Kameli Ratuvou.
  • Junior All Blacks - Sosene Anesi, Anthony Tuitavake, Niva Ta'auso, Cameron McIntyre, Caleb Ralph, Stephen Donald, Jamie Nutbrown, Nick Williams, Josh Blackie, Steven Bates, Bernie Upton, Tom Donnelly, John Afoa, Corey Flynn (Capt), Saimone Taumoepeau.
