Portable Internet in Suva can benefit tourists and other business visitors

Unwired Fiji has launched a new portable internet service which can benefit tourists and business travellers to Suva. The service, which makes use of a nomadic wireless telecommunications network where a phone line is not needed for a dial up connection, is being aimed at tertiary students. The company also says that it would be an attraction to tourists (and business travellers) to Suva as they can hire a modems during their stay to keep them connected. Since its launch last month, 100 tertiary students have already registered for the product.
