Fiji Games set to open today

The Fiji Games will open today with about 1,500 medals at stake. Most of the competitions are centered abound Suva while a few will be held at other centres around the country. The Games are aimed at promoting quality local competition for sports people. With the next South Pacific Games around the corner, the Fiji Games provides an opportunity for local sporting officials to identify talents that can further developed. The Games also provides an opportunity for local sports administrators to learn putting together big sporting competitions.
